CRUISE ON THE RIVER MEUSE - Mummy, do we need to row, row, row our boat? All aboard the river boats to go with the flow and discover the region without the need for oars! There are stops at Dinant, Waulsort and even at Hastière.
CAVES OF PONT D'ARCOLE IN HASTIERE - Stalagmites and stalactites have carved these mysterious landscapes over the centuries. The underground of the region is full of caves and grottos to explore. Even if the caves in Hastière are less popular with tourists than La Merveilleuse of Dinant, it is just as fascinating.
MAREDSOUS ABBEY AND THE MOLINE VALLEY - Peace and serenity can be found in the abbeys of Maredsous and Madredet. The region is also in demand with families who come to pedal the famous draisines on the ancient rail lines (Warnant-Falaën-Maredsous-Warnant: 3 circuits of 6 or 8 or 14 km). Abbey also leads to abbey beer and cheese.

NAMUR - The beautiful Namur is found at the junction of the River Meuse and the Sambre. This place of culture hosts the “Intime” Festival of French-speaking film (FIFF), the Namur theatrical art festival in May, art walks, Félicien Rops museum, the citadel, Guy Delforge’s perfume workshop, city water cruises, Solidarités music festival or even a wine producer… Namur is also a place of fine cuisine, with many restaurants, bars, wine bars and outdoor tables. Walk along the quiet pedestrian routes lined with shop windows.
KAYAK IN ANSEREMME OR IN THE VIROIN VALLEY - Get in a kayak to descend the River Lesse. Take a peaceful or sporty descent. The flow, the current strength and your skill determines how dry or how wet you get.
Take 4 to 5 hours of pure pleasure to go from Houyet down the River Lesse for 22 km or 2 to 2.5 hours to go from Gendron downstream for 11 km. Going with the flow, you will experience great natural views and spaces with great rock landscapes and middle-aged castles. Its winding paths, rapids and two waterfalls will amuse all generations. 10 km from Hastière. The Viroin is one of Belgium most unknown nature spots.
BREWERY AND BEER TASTING TRAILS - You will not know where to put your head with all the traditional breweries. They are open to visit for pedagogic beer tastings.Bocq Brewery was created in 1858 and is one of the few rare Belgian breweries that are still 100% family owned. They are not the only one.
